SITE UPDATED 16th July 2008

The recent tragic story of the young lad who was left with permanent brain damage

attracted world wide media attention not because the bouncy castle or the hire

company were at fault but because the case for damages was

taken against the couple who had hired the unit.

It is imperative that all those using bouncy castles and other forms of play equipment ensure that they are supervised at all times. Children at play always poses an element of risk and it is how that risk is managed / supervised that keeps youngsters safe.

Children at play will always suffer minor knocks and bruises but providing you hire from a reputable company then a bouncy castle is as safe as most other pieces of play equipment.

Inflated News has prepared an information sheet to assist potential Hirees

in ensuring that they ask the right questions before committing to hire a

bouncy castle. Download here

At the end of the day just remember that all play activities require supervision
